I view many things Hannah Arendt did very critically - just thought I’d
share this quote though:

Google translation:

»The problem, the personal problem, was not what our enemies did, but
what our friends did. What happened back then in the wave of conformity,
which was quite voluntary, at least not under the pressure of terror: it
was as if an empty space was forming around you. I lived in an
intellectual environment, but I also knew other people. And I could see
that conformity was, so to speak, the rule among intellectuals.”

Original:

»Das Problem, das persönliche Problem war doch nicht etwa, was unsere
Feinde taten, sondern was unsere Freunde taten. Was damals in der Welle

Hannah Arendt
Conformity is always the rule everywhere, and it
is always promoted everywhere as "good citizenship".
It is the very essence to belonging to a shared
belief group. Most people do not an ability to
think independently and relish the warmths of
intellectual laziness and the comfort of always
agreeing with other people.

Just look at this ng for example, where Herman,
Gerard, Raydolf, Pluted Poop and NotSure01 are
nothing but reflexions of one another.

Cheers!

Exactly, they are herd-animals… fucking Zombies — just like the
fakestinians

„The delight in the herd is more ancient than delight in the I; and as
long as the good conscience is identified with the herd, only the bad
conscience says: I.“

Nietzsche

They also perfectly represent Nietzsche‘s definition of „the last man“:

„ “We have invented happiness” says the last man, “We have left the
places where it was different to live, because we need warmth. We love
our neighbours and cuddle with him, because we need warmth. Being sick
or being critical is a sin. One is always careful. One who trips over
rocks or people is an idiot. We take a bit of narcotics from time to
time, to have pleasant dreams. And enough narcotics and one has a
pleasant death.
We still work, becuase work is an entertainment. But we aren’t rich or
poor, both is too tiring. And noone rules or obeys, that is tiring too.
No shepherd, but one herd. Everyone wants the same, everyone is equal.
Who doesn’t feel the same as us, goes to the looney bin by himself.”
“Once the entire world was crazy” say the finest, and wink. “We have
invented happiness” say the last men and wink.“

Posted this quote a while ago wrt gggg; it triggered Herman back then…
no wonder why… because he probably felt addressed as well lol
