Viviana Sofronitsky performing on a replica
of an Anton Walter fortepiano built by her
husband Paul McNulty:

There is no information as to what instrument
was really Beethoven's favorite piano, and it
wouldn't be meaningful even if there were, as
he could not hear.

The interpretation is awful, mechanical and
metronomic. Alla marcia from the beginning
to the end. One woders how the apple fell
so far from the tree. She is the daughter
of Vladimir Sofronitsky.

Cheers!

She probably needs to drink some moonshine before performing like daddy
did.

Daddy did indeed use quite a bit of moonshine.
IIRC he died of liver cancer or cirrhosis.

She plays it in a way obviously influenced by
daddy. Too bad the moonshine isn't there ;-)

Cheers!
