LvB's " Hammerklavier" from the pianist's Polskie Nagrania cd , joining del Pueyo's Epic lp recording and Petri's as 3 ( of few ? ) under 40 minutes :

There is a live YT of Jezior playing the Brahms 2nd Concerto at a competition in Finland in 2012 I have not heard, but will hear now.

Very well done, lyrical, colorful, good job by all concerned :

<cough> Yudina <cough>.

I've, regrettably, sold my Del Pueyo Hammerklaviers....but from memory they had fairly similar timings. A fine pianist.

Must be his later recording. My Epic times at approx. 39:48.

I think I tried to listen to HJ Lim , but was defeated.

One slower than anticipated, but great, is the new recording of Daniel-Ben Pienaar on Avie cd :

I forgot to mention, and recommend, again, Pienaar's LvB " Diabelli " cd, one of few I enjoy, although the YT not in great sound :

The CD is inexpensive at Berkshire. I picked it up before they went
into hibernation (I think they may have now reached the yawning
stage), but haven't listened to it yet.

Jezior in a lithe reading of Szymanowski's Piano Sonata No.2 ; pity the music not more interesting :
