Not in D.C. exactly, but if you're in the suburb of Falls Church, Va.,
the CD Cellar has a small but sometimes interesting classical
selection. However, the shop lately seems to be giving over more and
more of its limited space to used LP's. I'm not quite sure what to
make of that.

Assuming you're talking about CDs, Second Story Books on Dupont Circle used
to be decent. Haven't been there in years.

Second story has some. CD Cellar's Fall Church location has far more
classical CDs than their Clarendon/Wilson Blvd. store. For a town that
used to have Tower, Serenade, Olsson's, Melody, and several huge used
CD stores, things have become disgraceful. Of course, retailing
probably had no choice but to keep up with the conspicuous dumbing
down of the population in general.

Along with Big Media tools constantly shrieking in their feature articles,
"Nobody is buying CDs! Nobody is buying CDs! *squawk* *whistle* Nobody is
buying CDs!" So I guess those hundreds of "nobodies" I see every time I shop
at, say, Amoeba Music are just products of my imagination.

In Delft Centrum there's only Van Buytene, but they don't have used music.

I had to think about that response for a while before it dawned on
me...
