Purchased in 1990 at Tower Records, Market Street, San Francisco.

Not my cup of tea, but I'm keeping it for sentimental reasons.

Agree, worth keeping at the very least for the posthumous
"collaboration" with Ives himself in They are There! And in fairness
their readings of Crumb's title piece and Shostakovich No.8 are quite
special too.

I'm also keeping their CD 'Winter was hard' (1988), because I think I
actually sort of like it!

Agreed about the Crumb and Shostakovich.I purchased the cd for the
latter, and because curious to hear Kronos, being prepared not to like
much any of the rest, but surprisingly enjoyed the Crumb,too.
