Well ya, don't need it... I also just can't get over Merriman and also
Lisa Otto...

Yeah also not the greatest fan of Haefliger and DFD (I think he is quite
good in Fricsay's nozze though)... it really sucks how the singing in
Fricsay's Mozart recordings just isn't on par with his conducting...
can't enjoy Fricsay's Serail, Zauberflöte and DG because of the subpar
singing -- his nozze seems alright besides Stader as the countess I
guess... will relisten.

Yeah, no... DFD is also not too good in Fricsay's nozze, and Stader is
just as awful as I remembered... no need.

So I guess Solti's nozze is actually the best alongside Östman's... will
have to relisten; I'll probably still prefer Östman's...

Yeah so far from what I'm hearing now I'll need Solti's nozze...

So my fav Mozart recordings are:

Serail: Beecham

nozze: Östman, Solti (not sure which I like more -- would have to
compare both now... not in the mood to right now)

DG: Furtwängler (orfeo + warner), Klemperer, Krips, Mitropoulos, Östman
- also quite difficult to say which is my favorite here

cosi: Böhm (decca + warner), Östman -- same here

Zauberflöte: Bergman, Östman (probably I like Bergman's more...)
